There is nothing better than an Unbirthday to pamper yourself with a cup of your favorite coffee, a good massage, a well done manicure, having something sweet, an afternoon nap, a nice game of cards, making something to eat, paint, read, watch Tv, go for a run, chocolate, PBJ sandwich, an hour at the gym, sitting on a park bench just because, clean sheet day, towel fresh from the dryer on a winter day, playing with your feet on the sand, hitting hard the snooze button and falling back to sleep, waking next to the person you love, laughing so hard you cry… anything you can think of that makes you happy and you enjoy, because the reality is that you can not do all those things that make you happy only on your birthday.
Life is too short why we shouldn’t enjoy all the things we take for granted because we can do them every day, we forget how much we like them because we do them so often, some almost every day. We need to learn to enjoy the little things like, laughing with lovers and friends for no apparent reason just because they have this ridiculous funny laugh, talking just to pass the time, being with family, try a piece of chocolate that is so good it melts in your mouth, making a stranger smile, kids playing, laughing at yourself, giving an unexpected gift, saying I Love You, Hugging, singing, listen to your favorite song and cranking up the volume, dancing alone like a crazy person… and the list could never end.
We should remember to enjoy all things, little and big, ordinary and extraordinary, we never know when extraordinary is happening until is over, remember to see things like a kid does when he sees something for the first time, remember to enjoy every step of the way not just the end, remember to love, remember to laugh and most important remember to have fun!
